"This Yoga Nidra training course allowed me to go deeper into my already existing Nidra practice. On a personal level, I find myself having more clarity and feeling more balanced. I also really enjoyed the amount of details and hands-on practice as well as the clarity of the instructions and class participation. Thanks to the lectures' breakdown and class discussions I was able to understand better some of the more subtle aspects of Yoga Nidra within the larger body of yogic knowledge and traditions."

Ron Fog

"Liz is not only a fantastic teacher but a wonderful human being! Every time I take a class with her, I am touched by her generosity of spirit and her undeniable passion for all things yoga. It's very inspiring! Practicing Yoga Nidra more regularly as part of the Yoga Nidra Teacher Training course has really helped me feel more grounded and present overall. I find myself being less emotionally reactive, less prone to attachment and more conscious and aware in general. It has also helped me to become a more compassionate and conscious communicator in my relationships. I feel like I can create more space for patience and understanding. It's also been a huge confidence booster to think that I now have the skills and knowledge to provide such a profoundly healing practice for others!"

Camila Castro

"Liz has a lovely calm manner of both teaching and practicing. Her approach with a combination of theory and practice was a great way of learning.  I felt great benefit from the Yoga Nidra practices for myself and I feel confident in my own ability now to teach yoga Nidra. The section on brain waves and brain patterns was fascinating. I feel a lot of the power yoga can be explained by neuroscience and it is beneficial as a teacher to have the science to back up what you are teaching. While I was familiar with yoga nidra prior to the training I was unaware of the steps involved. I am delighted to learn that I will be able to tailor my yoga Nidra practices to students' particular requirements."

Vivienne Lillis

"Liz, made this course so compelling even in a virtual format. The nidra recordings she made available to us are wonderful.  I absolutely love the guided imagery/visualization aspects of practice. I think it's uniquely approachable following the systematic body scan and breathwork of earlier stages and makes it much more attainable than simple meditation. I feel the personal benefits of nidra immensely. To me, yoga is a powerful antidote to anxiety and my desire is to share this outwardly via nidra offerings. I am so encouraged by the research on its power. I think nidra can be beneficial for so many different humans in so many situations, and being able to just lean in and know you'll be guided eases the pressure of having to do it "right." Thank you, Liz!!! I am so thankful to have access to all that we've learned so I can revisit and continue working on my own nidra writing and practice skills."

Megan Brown

"I really enjoyed learning about the science and the systematic approach to Yoga Nidra. This is the first time I have encountered the Koshas in any depth and this fundamental understanding deepened my learning of yoga nidra. I really enjoyed that we were encouraged to practice every day. I have never done so much yoga nidra and now I know I am really beginning to understand it's capacity for healing, creativity and peace. This came for me at a time when I was well into my own self healing journey, however, I lost my Grandad just before we began. I have been channelling energy into understanding my identity, my ancestors and then, moving further beyond the self to the collective, I have uncovered the role I can play in social justice. Yoga nidra has helped me find peace within this process. 'Doing the work' is uncomfortable at times, but yoga nidra never is. I have led a couple of yoga nidras with my close family and friends who have so far really enjoyed them. This is a skill I want to maintain and develop. I have no formal meditation teaching but this has really increased my confidence to lead people through relaxation and to understand, via the koshas, how we can do this gently, layer by layer."

Laura Reneau

"I truly enjoyed going in depth about the Yoga Nidra stages. Through the practices I learned to open up to a level of vulnerability that I often fight against. Surrendering into it in practice created a freeing energy/sensation difficult to describe in words. I also really enjoyed the lecture on brain waves, sleep cycles and the impact of Yoga Nidra."

Carol Conway

"I absolutely loved this Yoga Nidra course and all the wisdom and personal / professional experience that Liz was sharing! I really appreciated the wealth of information about Yoga Nidra, Liz' wonderful meditations and somatic exercises, and step-by-step instructions how to create a meditation ourselves. I am impressed by Liz' wisdom and her professionalism, and love her presence and kindness. It is new to me that Yoga Nidra can be used in so many different settings, for various topics, and even customized for individual clients. I  loved the integration of the chakras into Yoga Nidra. I really loved to have the chance of practice with Liz' various examples of Yoga Nidra meditations - this was a wonderful mixture of Learning & Practicing. I am excited that a Yoga Nidra meditation can be curtailed to time restrictions, as well as extended and intensified when needed. I have been practicing much Yoga Nidra before the course, but I am now even more motivated to continue a regular practice."

Sabine Lindemann

"I truly loved everything about this Yoga Nidra course, especially the somatic practices and the variety of guided Yoga Nidra experiences. The way the information unfolded holistically has been so fulfilling! I’ve been so isolated this past year, it was a delight to be able to share with a group, even if it wasn’t in person! When I do practice Yoga Nidra more frequently, I sleep better, have a better outlook, and more energy available…..Yoga Nidra helped me to be more open and accepting which has made navigating this extraordinary time so much easier. I can tap into positivity and feel far less alone in my life.  The lectures were full of well presented information; the slides and handouts built on what was presented, and the resources and reading lists have also been very helpful. I love Liz’s gentle voice and the delightful use of words."

Tricia Shepard

"This class left me with wonder for life. I loved the invitation to do a Yoga Nidra committed practice along with learning the science and history behind it. This made it so great to correlate with what I was experiencing and gave me the opportunity on how to create something by really experiencing it and understanding. The course was so informative and provided me an amazing spiritual journey! I have recently been through a lot and I feel that this opened me up to deep place of peace, I am forever changed."

Marianna Voulgaris

"This Yoga Nidra Teacher Training training was perfect, I think there was the perfect amount of information given in a very clear and precise way, it was all very interesting. I definitely feel confident to lead a Yoga Nidra now and am excited to do one! I think there was the perfect amount of information given in a very clear and precise way, it was all very interesting. Learning how to write a Yoga Nidra script and guide a class through it was one of my favorite aspects, also all the different styles of yoga nidra that were sent out for us to try. Through the practices I experienced a deep relaxation and energy flow in the body that is very similar, if not the same, as acupuncture- a deep sense of calm within the body and mind without feeling exhausted. I also felt energy/prana start to flow through my body about half way through the Yoga Nidra every time. It is a form of meditation that is easier for me to access than seated meditation. I am a very visual person and so for me the visualizations are very fun and creative and I get excited to go on the journey. It was a great way to keep coming back to my sankalpa each day. The mountain journey was my favorite, I also enjoyed placing the "aum" symbol on the body, and I really enjoyed the jeweled beach. I am a jeweler and work with stones daily and so that one really resonated with me. I've wanted to take a training on Yoga Nidra for a long time and this was a very accessible and affordable way to do so without adding in additional traveling costs."
